2006 Ashurst Camp a Success
The
2006 Ashurst Camp was another resounding success thanks to the efforts of
organiser O'leary Sensei and the great turnout of McCallum Branch
students. The camp coverd all aspect of the syllabus, Kyokushin
terminology and protocol, Shihatsu back massage and the introduction
of four new kata to the syllabus. Photos can be viewed here.

Swan (NZ Honbu - Wellington). The Shinsa is set for the 30th September
2006 at NZ Honbu, Wellington.

Hiro, Sakae leaving for Japan
Today, the last session of this year. It was also a last session for Hiro & Sakae who are leaving for Japan. It's very sad to see them go as
they were valuable to the dojo.

29/09/04: Mats at the Dojo
Honbu Dojo now features brand new jigsaw mats on the floor!
As well as providing a better, safer and cooler-looking surface to train on
for regular dojo sessions, the mats can also be taken off-site for local
tournaments and demonstrations etc.
